A healthcare facility in New York, located in Dutchess County, is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to become a part of their clinic treatment team. This role requires a compassionate and experienced nurse to provide exceptional care in a men's only residential treatment center for substance use disorder.
About the Opportunity:

- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: Monday to Friday
- Schedule: 3 pm to 11 pm
- Hours: 35 hours per week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Setting: Long-term residential inpatient in a mountainous area
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
- Assessing client health status and developing care plans
- Performing Nursing Intake and Medical History documentation
- Triaging and referring clients for appropriate treatment
- Monitoring lab results and coordinating with medical practitioners
- Developing and documenting nursing care plans in accordance with standards
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as an RN, preferably with substance use or mental health populations
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- NYS RN licensure and BLS certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent organizational skills
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong teamwork and independent working skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Recent experience in the required field
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques is preferred
- LPN license preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage high-stress situations smoothly
