About the Opportunity:

- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Setting: Day Program
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and providing health care services as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Arranging medical services and issuing referrals.
- Providing follow-up on medical issues for clients.
- Training staff on medical administration and infection control.
- Handling communicable disease control and providing immediate first aid.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in community-based health services.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of New York.
- CPR Certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of adaptive devices used by clients.
Desired Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in developmental disabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- OPWDD clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Empathy and patience in working with diverse populations.
