A leading healthcare facility in Buena Parks, CA, is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing critical nursing services to residents in a group home, with flexibility to assist in other programs as needed.
About the Opportunity:
- On-site
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (Flexibility required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed)
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Setting: Residential healthcare facility
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Weekly individual assessments and care coordination
- Supervision of LVNs and delegation of tasks within scope of practice
- Development and review of Nursing/Health Care Plans
- Participation in interdisciplinary teams and service planning
- Oversight of medication administration and physician orders
- Documentation of progress notes, nursing exams, and EMR updates
- In-service training and emergency preparedness
- Collaboration with dietary, pharmacy, and administrative teams
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN
- Graduate of a Board of Registered Nursing approved school
- Current California Registered Nurse's License
- Possess supervisory and management skills
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Valid California Driver License
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent organizational skills
