A New York City health services company is seeking a Registered Dietitian to focus on providing top-notch nutritional care within an acute care setting.
About the Opportunity:- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5:30pm
- Setting: Acute Care
- Screening and assessing patients in an accurate and timely manner based on levels of care
- Determining nutritional needs and providing follow-up care
- Interviewing patients/families to obtain food history
- Monitoring patients for food/drug interactions
- Consulting with physicians about diet modifications
- 1+ years of experience
- Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition
- Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Experience with EMR systems
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Effective communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Problem-solving abilities
- Patient-focused care approach
- Master's Degree
- Bilingual
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR
