About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: Mid-July
- Schedule: Full-time or Part time, Monday – Friday
- Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Conduct oral health assessments.
- Review/screen oral health conditions, including health history, oral cancer screenings, head/neck inspection, dental charting, blood pressure/pulse.
- Take dental radiographs and impressions, and pour models.
- Perform all preventative and hygiene services per California Dental Practice Act.
- Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the dentition.
- Polish and contour restorations.
- Apply preventative materials to teeth, including sealants and fluoride.
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (brushing, flossing, nutritional counseling).
- Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of California.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
