A leading healthcare setting in California is currently seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: Mid-July
- Schedule: Full-time or Part time, Monday – Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral health assessments
- Review/screen oral health conditions, including health history, oral cancer screenings, head/neck inspection, dental charting, blood pressure/pulse
- Take dental radiographs and impressions, and pour models
- Perform all preventative and hygiene services per California Dental Practice Act
- Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the dentition.
- Polish and contour restorations
- Apply preventative materials to teeth, including sealants and fluoride
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (brushing, flossing, nutritional counseling)
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of California
