A financial services firm in Northern Virginia is seeking a new Quality Engineer to join their team in McLean, focusing on quality assurance and automation testing within payment systems.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business (40 hours per week)
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Owning test strategy, planning, and execution across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles
- Managing test cases and defects using Azure DevOps
- Performing manual and automation testing for various integrated systems
- Testing batch and file-based processing systems
- Integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in Java-based frameworks
- Familiarity with Maven and Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Automation Testing (preferred)
- Experience in Financial Services or Banking
- Familiarity with ACH processing
- Knowledge of Selenium/UI Automation
