A recreational organization in New York City is seeking a new Senior QA Automation Engineer/Test Engineer, focusing on expanding automated test coverage for high-traffic, mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for backend services using Java
- Developing and executing API and service-level tests
- Contributing to UI test automation using Selenium or Playwright
- Performing load and performance testing
- Providing clear reporting on system performance and reliability
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of relevant experience
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Strong experience with Java
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Experience with Test Automation frameworks for Backend Systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving ability
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Experience in testing Identity & Authentication systems
- Experience with REST Assured
- Familiarity with high-availability consumer platforms
