A North Carolina-based financial services company is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team in Charlotte. In this role, the QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for automation testing and requires experience in various testing tools and processes.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Creating a culture that ensures zero defects in production
- Understanding and adopting enterprise quality requirements
- Implementing shift-left test strategies
- Leveraging automation frameworks and tools in CI/CD pipelines
- Participating in product design reviews
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, etc.
- Experience with API testing and SQL queries
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field
- Experience in the IVR space
