An organization is seeking a PTP Disbursements Lead in Nashville, TN to oversee global payment operations, support an ERP consolidation, and drive accurate, timely, and compliant disbursement processing. This role combines hands-on payments expertise with process improvement, controls, and cross-functional leadership in a complex, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end disbursement operations across multiple ERP environments, including ACH, wire transfers, check processing, direct debits, and virtual card payments
- Ensure timely and accurate payment execution in alignment with vendor terms, cash flow objectives, and internal controls
- Manage payment exceptions, holds, and failed payments while performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Partner with Treasury, Banking, Finance, and Technology teams on payment file transmissions, bank connectivity, ERP integration, and go-live readiness
- Lead global disbursements team activities, establish performance expectations, and drive continuous improvement in controls, reporting, and process documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive AP/PTP experience with a focus on disbursements and payment operations
- At least 4 years of leadership experience at the Director or VP level
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Payments
- Experience managing payment operations across multiple ERP platforms simultaneously
- Deep expertise in payment methods, bank connectivity, and payment file formats
- Strong knowledge of disbursement controls, SOX compliance, and fraud prevention practices
- Experience contributing to an ERP migration from a payments perspective
- Experience leading large, globally distributed teams
- Strong analytical, root cause analysis, and executive communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with ERS and recurring payment processes
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems and banking portal integrations
- Knowledge of global payment regulations and cross-border payment requirements
- Background in media, entertainment, or a large enterprise environment
- Experience in a global shared services or GBS environment
