A Long Island-based nonprofit organization is actively seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist to focus on both clinical and leadership responsibilities in a full-time capacity.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a flexible admin/telehealth day on Friday
- Hours: Varies between locations (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Setting: Clinical, Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Providing psychiatric assessments and medication management
- Supporting clients in the outpatient Oasis substance use clinic
- Offering supervision to seven psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Delivering follow-up care, telehealth or in-person as needed
- Ensuring psychiatric coverage for approximately 180 PROS clients
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- MD or DO licensed in New York State
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry and Neurology
- Valid NY State driver’s license
- Medicare and Medicaid enrollment (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in Substance Use Treatment or Outpatient Mental Health
- Familiarity with Comprehensive Outpatient programs
- Ability to work with adult and occasional adolescent clients
- Strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Medicine or related field
- Advanced certifications in Psychiatry
- Familiarity with Outpatient Treatment settings
