A New Jersey-based healthcare organization is seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist to join their team in Somerset County, focusing on inpatient Behavioral Health at a leading healthcare facility.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (one weekend per month)
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, managing, and discharging psychiatric inpatients
- Providing care for patients with complex psychiatric conditions
- Conducting psychiatric assessments and medication management
- Collaborating with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and treatment teams
- Participating in treatment planning and discharge coordination
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Active NJS Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry
- Proficiency in Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in complex Behavioral Health Management
