A health services organization in New Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to join its growing Behavioral Health Department at one of its medical centers in Newark, providing care to children with psychiatric diagnoses.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Providing outpatient medication management
- Conducting psycho-evaluation services
- Caring for children aged 4-17 with psychiatric diagnoses
- Managing 15-minute medication management visits
- Conducting 60-minute psychiatric evaluations
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree in Psychiatry
- Board Certification
- Proficiency in using EMR systems (Epic)
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Effective communication skills
- Detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications in Child Psychiatry
- Advanced training in Behavioral Health
- Experience in Pediatric Psychiatry
- Expertise in Medication Management
