A behavioral health program is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient coverage on an adult mental health and substance-abuse unit. This is a daytime locum assignment with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call.

Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
- Managing adult patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Conducting assessments and follow-up evaluations
- Supporting patients with mental health and substance-related conditions
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team
- Documenting patient progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Relevant clinical experience in behavioral health
- Master’s degree and appropriate NP or PA certification
- Active state license
- Active DEA
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to manage adult psychiatric and substance-use cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry
- Suboxone certification
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary behavioral health models
- Strong patient-centered approach
