An outpatient behavioral health program is seeking a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Worcester County, Massachusetts. This role provides psychiatric assessment, medication management, and collaborative care for individuals with complex mental health needs in a community-based treatment setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Flexible, 4-5 days per week
- Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week
- Setting: Outpatient community-based care
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services for adult patients.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver care through community outreach and office-based outpatient visits.
- Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and treatment adherence.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- DEA registration.
- Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
- Psychiatric experience.
- Ability to work independently in community and outpatient settings.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with high-acuity behavioral health populations.
- Familiarity with care transitions and coordinated services in community mental health.
- Experience using an electronic medical record system for behavioral health documentation.
