A New York based non-profit is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
to support their growing behavioral health program across Manhattan and the Bronx.
Schedule:
- 21 hours per week (flexible)
- Majority of hours must be during standard daytime hours
- Some evening/Saturday flexibility available
- Telehealth available on-site only (not remote)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Treat individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Work with both pediatric and adult populations (child-heavy caseload expected)
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (psychiatry, social work, psychology)
- Support development of expanding mental health services
Qualifications:
- NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP-BC)
- Experience with IDD population strongly preferred (professional or lived experience)
- Open to candidates with limited pediatric experience if strong otherwise
