A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join their growing team in the McLean, Virginia area. In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all aspects of project life-cycle initiatives from inception through implementation.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from concept through planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and transition
- Define and execute project plans, including scope, activities, schedules, and cost estimates
- Ensure effective management of projects from initiation through implementation
- Direct and lead project teams, coordinating work plans, milestones, schedules, and deliverables
- Allocate team assignments and ensure accountability and effective resource utilization
- Establish team objectives, review work products, and provide performance feedback
- Manage project budgets, including risk assessment and change impacts
- Identify and mitigate project risks or constraints
- Monitor progress to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with business units to define and understand requirements
- Work closely with Procurement teams on vendor contracts
- Support contract negotiations, scope definition, and risk management
- Manage contract administration, quality assurance, and execution
- Participate in developing and improving department policies, standards, and processes
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of minimum experience managing multiple large, complex projects
- Advanced knowledge of Project lifecycles, Project Management methodologies, and business requirements analysis
- Experience developing and managing cross-functional business relationships
- Strong understanding of Contracts and their impact on Project Delivery
- Computer savvy
- Project management tools
Desired Qualifications:
- PMP Certification or equivalent experience managing enterprise-wide projects
- Experience in the Financial industry
