JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Program Manager – Content & Contract Platforms
Location: Los Angeles (4 days onsite; hours 8–5, core hours 10–4)
Start: January (Interviews begin early December)


Overview

A technology organization is launching a major transformation initiative focused on modernizing contract management systems, royalty workflows, product approvals, and creative operations. The team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the PMO supporting this multi-year roadmap.

This individual will partner closely with senior leadership, cross-functional product teams, analytics groups, operational excellence teams, and global stakeholders. The ideal candidate is not only technically capable but also brings exceptional soft skills and can collaborate effectively with creative, business, and technical personalities.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO for a large-scale transformation initiative beginning in Q1
• Establish and mature PMO processes, best practices, governance, and standardization
• Develop frameworks, templates, communications, reporting structures, and delivery workflows
• Drive program planning, timelines, roadmaps, and cross-functional alignment
• Oversee enhancements to contract, royalty, and creative workflow platforms
• Work extensively with Adobe Workfront (expertise strongly preferred)
• Coordinate with analytics, approvals, product, and operational excellence teams
• Collaborate with external consulting partners and major technology vendors
• Support platform modernization and transitions over the coming year
• Work effectively with global business teams, including international stakeholders
• Provide executive-level reporting and overall program visibility
• Build relationships, influence without authority, and navigate creative-driven environments


Qualifications

• 5–10 years of program or project management experience
• Strong Adobe Workfront experience required or strongly preferred
• Proven experience standing up or maturing a PMO (process, governance, frameworks, templates)
• Excellent soft skills and ability to work with creative, non-technical, and technical stakeholders
• Not overly rigid or overly technical; must operate with flexibility and emotional intelligence
• PMP or similar project management certification preferred
• Experience in media organizations, content operations, consumer products, or licensing a plus (not required)
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in Los Angeles
