A recognized services company in New York City is seeking a new Project Engineer to support engineering projects impacting substation and system operations.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm (EST; 40 hours per week)
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days in the office minimum)
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing engineering estimates, schedules, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinating engineering package and schedule reviews
- Tracking deliverables and providing technical support during field construction
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers
- Maintaining project data and supporting system emergencies as required
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Applicable Engineering and/or Design experience in Utility Operations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform field visits
- Valid driver’s license
- Field engagement willingness
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge of Project Management standards
- Experience with Proposal Writing and Editing
