A healthcare network on Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Project Coordinator for a great opportunity with their growing team in Nassau County. In this role, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting ongoing initiatives, conducting onsite reviews, and managing day-to-day operations, while gaining valuable exposure to project management tools and practices.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 6+ months
- Setting: Hybrid (onsite at least 3 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Support program operations and onsite reviews (e.g., tracking construction progress, gathering updates, reporting status)
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and communications for meetings, site visits, and initiatives
- Use project management tools such as MS Planner and MS Project
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and feedback
- Assist with program evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are executed smoothly and efficiently
- Travel as needed across Long Island (Mineola / Nassau County)
- Contribute to a team-first culture where collaboration and shared success are prioritized
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of related work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
- Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, and take initiative in dynamic situations
- Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and take on a variety of tasks
- Must be onsite (not remote) and comfortable traveling throughout Long Island
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to construction projects or IT initiatives
- Recent graduates or professionals with early career Project Coordination experience
