A leading financial services company in Virginia is seeking a Product Strategist – Vendor & Merchant Operations in Vienna to manage the full onboarding process for vendors and merchants.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 40 per week
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite in Vienna, VA)
Responsibilities:
- Supporting end-to-end vendor and merchant onboarding for debit offers, incentives, and events
- Coordinating merchant opportunities through intake, approvals, onboarding, and launch readiness
- Partnering with internal teams to meet onboarding requirements
- Serving as a point of coordination for external vendors and merchants
- Tracking onboarding activities, milestones, and dependencies using Azure DevOps
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting vendor or merchant onboarding, operations, or partnership management
- Familiarity with cross-functional onboarding processes involving legal, risk, and compliance
- Strong working experience using Azure DevOps
- Ability to review performance data and support data-informed recommendations
- Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or Marketing
- Experience in Debit, Credit, Payments, or Card-based programs
- Direct experience with external vendors, merchants, or payment partners
- Familiarity with Enterprise Intake, Approval, Compliance, Risk, and Governance processes
