Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the design, build, and implementation of new asset management systems to support the Creative and R&D teams for Universal Parks. This role will oversee vendor-led SaaS product implementations, including an initial asset management system for creative assets and signage, as well as future product tools that will serve archivists, asset managers, editors, and park creatives. The ideal candidate thrives in highly collaborative environments, has experience working with SaaS platforms, and is comfortable managing complex stakeholder groups that include long-time theme park professionals and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy, planning, and execution for asset management and product tools, including Orange Logic and ClickUp.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to define requirements, oversee buildout, and drive successful system implementation.
- Work closely with Creative, R&D, asset managers, archivists, editors, and vendors to capture business needs and translate them into scalable product solutions.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to launch, adoption, and ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with administrative and technical counterparts to ensure seamless integration and user adoption.
- Support the development of standards, workflows, and governance models for asset management systems.
- Ensure product tools are optimized for theme park environments, including rides, signage, and creative assets for new developments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on SaaS platforms, asset management systems, or creative tools.
- Proven success in leading product implementations with third-party vendors.
- Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including creative teams, R&D, and operational staff.
- Experience in media, entertainment, theme parks, or creative industries strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with asset management platforms (e.g., Orange Logic, ClickUp, or similar).
Additional Details:
- This is an onsite role; hybrid is currently 3 days onsite, moving to 4 in January.
- Candidate must be comfortable working in theme park environments and partnering with long-tenured park professionals.
- Project kickoff for the asset management system build is scheduled to begin within one month.
