A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a Primary Care Physician for their Brooklyn location to deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Daytime
- Schedule: Monday to Friday or potential for a four-day work week
- Hours: 36 hours Clinical and 4 hours admin.
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Volume: 2-3 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Collecting, recording, and maintaining patient information such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
- Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
- Providing quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care
- Reviewing all test results and recommending suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits
- Prescribing medications and formulating ongoing treatment and disease management plans
- Participating in medical staff educational programs and meetings
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- M.D. / D.O.
- Board Eligible / Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
- DEA/BLS/ACLS certified
- Competency in diagnosis and treatment to ensure high standards of patient care and safety
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
