About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 3 days per week
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Delivering comprehensive inpatient care
- Prescribing medications & therapies per NY State law
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for continuity of care
- Educating patients & families on treatment plans
- Participating in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience required
- Bachelor's Degree
- NYS Physician Assistant (PA) license
- NCCPA Certification
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Experience in Stroke Care
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree
- ACLS/PALS certification
