A health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Cardiology team in Brooklyn, focusing on both inpatient and outpatient cardiology.
About the Opportunity:- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm (10-hour shifts)
- Setting: Hospital
- Inpatient cardiology consultations
- Covering a clinic with a physician
- Managing patient volume effectively
- Collaborating with the cardiologist on care plans
- Documenting all patient interactions in EPIC EMR
- Performing other duties, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active NYS Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Board Eligible
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Proficient in EPIC EMR
- Strong cardiology knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team
- Master's Degree
- Board Certified
- Specialized Cardiology training
- Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Care
- Experience in a Hospital setting
