A well-established health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their Inpatient Mental Health team on a Part-time basis.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Part-time
- Schedule: 1 day per week
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
- Setting: Inpatient Mental Health Facility
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a Physical Therapy Consultant
- Assessing and evaluating cthe lient’s condition to develop a treatment plan
- Reviewing the client’s treatment goals, treatment, and medical history
- Performing standard muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests
- Administering appropriate physical therapy treatments
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Active NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Documentation of treatment services
- Strong communication skills
- Team collaboration abilities
