This is an opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join a rehabilitation and nursing center in Westwood, NJ, providing critical care and treatment within a sub-acute rehabilitation, wound care, and long-term care environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Flexible
- Schedule: Monday to Friday with one weekend rotation
- Hours: Flexible; 40-45 minute therapy sessions
- Setting: Rehabilitation and nursing center
Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:
- Providing and directing rehabilitation care in accordance with all standards
- Evaluating resident needs and establishing treatment plans
- Coordinating treatment plans with staff and other disciplines
- Participating in resident screening and delivering feedback on clinical issues
- Ensuring effective management of treatments and documentation to meet requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Current and Active Physical Therapist license in NJ
- Experience in older adult rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to travel between facilities
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in physical therapy
- Specialty certifications in rehabilitation
- Experience with electronic medical records
