A health services organization in Albany, New York, is actively seeking a new Phlebotomist for events occurring in the Capital Region, collecting blood samples as part of a statewide biomonitoring project.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Afternoons
- Schedule: Specific dates with set times
- Hours: 2:30pm to 7:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Performing blood draws using the straight needle method
- Preparing and organizing equipment for blood collection
- Participating in on-site health events
- Maintaining accurate records of collected samples
- Assisting with participant inquiries
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in Phlebotomy
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current certification in Phlebotomy
- Proficient with the use of the 21-gauge straight needle
- Experience with research protocols
- Strong communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Passionate about public health
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual
- Experience within a Mobile Health clinics
