A New York-based healthcare organization is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in the Albany region, supporting the Biomonitoring Project by collecting blood samples at public health events.

Responsibilities:
- Attending and supporting blood sampling events
- Performing phlebotomy using the straight needle method
- Collecting 3 tubes of blood per participant
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with research protocols
- Coordinating with staff at events
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current Phlebotomy certification
- Proficiency in using a straight needle for blood draws
- Passionate about public health
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability to different event settings
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in Public Health settings
- Proficiency with 21-gauge needles
- Familiarity with Research protocols
