A healthcare organization in Florida is seeking a new Pharmacy Technician to join their growing team in Sanford.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 6pm (8am to 12pm on Fridays)
- Setting: Pharmacy
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Pharmacist in all pharmacy operations
- Performing accurate data entry and patient release functions
- Collecting correct payments and providing change to patients
- Submitting necessary supply and medication orders
- Following medication guidelines and procedures
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Retail Pharmacy experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Florida Pharmacy Technician license
- BLS CPR certification
- Multi-tasking ability
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Pharmacy experience
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Pharmacy Technician Training Program certification
- Bilingual
