A healthcare organization is seeking a Pharmacist to join its inpatient mental health team in Syracuse, New York. The role supports medication review, dispensing, and monitoring across inpatient and outpatient services in a collaborative clinical setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Setting: Inpatient mental health
Responsibilities:
- Review, dispense, and monitor inpatient and outpatient medications
- Prepare IV admixtures and maintain accurate medication records
- Provide drug information and medication counseling to patients and families
- Supervise pharmacy aides and support safe pharmacy operations
- Participate in performance improvement and medication therapy data activities
Qualifications:
- Active NYS Pharmacist license
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
- 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacist in an inpatient setting
