A healthcare network in Westchester County, NY is actively seeking a licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team providing maternity leave coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 3 shifts/week (12 hours) or 4 shifts/week (10 hours)
- Hours: 7pm to 7am
- Setting: Pediatric Hospitalist Program
Responsibilities:
- Pediatric and newborn admissions
- Inpatient consults
- Coverage for pediatric/newborn nursery patients
- Assist with pediatric codes alongside house staff and ED team
- Nasogastric Tube (NGT) placement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degrees
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Board Certified Family NP (FNP) or Pediatric NP (PNP), BLS, PALS, NRP
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Pediatric Inpatient Care preferred
- Proficiency with EMR systems
