About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Weekend call coverage
- Schedule: Friday to Monday
- Hours: 5pm to 8am
- Setting: Hospital-based pediatric nephrology service
Responsibilities:
- Providing unrestricted weekend call coverage
- Managing inpatient nephrology consultations as needed
- Evaluating and treating pediatric kidney-related conditions
- Coordinating care with hospitalists, specialists, and nursing teams
- Documenting all care within Epic
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Pediatric Nephrology
- Active New Jersey license (or eligible)
- Experience providing inpatient Consultative Nephrology Care
- Comfortable practicing independently during call coverage
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Epic EMR
