An academic medical center is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist in Newark, New Jersey. This role provides comprehensive care for children with congenital and acquired heart disease across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings, with opportunities to contribute to teaching and collaborative clinical care.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: In-person, hospital/clinical setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings
- Perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiography and support advanced cardiac imaging as needed
- Participate in inpatient rounding and consultation for pediatric cardiac patients
- Collaborate with nurses, nurse practitioners, and other members of the care team to coordinate patient care
- Participate in rotating call coverage, including weekends, and contribute to medical student and resident education
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Cardiology
- New Jersey medical licensure or eligibility for licensure
Desired Skills:
- Fetal echocardiography experience
- Transesophageal echocardiography experience
- Interest in academic medicine and teaching
