A recognized company in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is actively seeking a new PC Technician to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Configuring, delivering, and installing PCs, peripherals, and corporate standard software.
- Overseeing the building and maintenance of corporate computer images for laptops and desktops.
- Organizing the return of leased computer equipment and preparing out-of-date equipment for donation or disposal.
- Providing information for management decisions on desktop, laptop, and computer peripherals selection.
- Maintaining an inventory of computers and components.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in IT
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science field or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of PC hardware architecture
- Experience with laptops, desktops, printers, and common peripherals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Problem-solving and time-management skills
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of IT experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field preferred
- Microsoft certifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ certifications
- Advanced PC hardware diagnostics and repair skills
