A renowned healthcare facility in New York is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their outpatient team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality nursing care within an established institution.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On site
- Shift: 8am-4pm
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Hours: Full-time
- Setting: Outpatient Medicine
Responsibilities:
The RN – Outpatient will be responsible for:
- Providing safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research.
- Incorporating the tenets of Relationship Centered Care through the nursing process.
- Assessing and evaluating patient care needs and managing patient care.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Implementing and evaluating nursing care plans.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of ambulatory/outpatient experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license
- AHA BLS Certification
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Critical thinking skills
Desired Skills:
- 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Experience with floating
- Experience working with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Excellent patient care skills
