A health services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Orthopedic Surgeon to provide critical orthopedic care at a leading medical facility.

About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: Until December 2026
- Schedule: Flexible, 5-7 days per month
- Hours: 24-hour on-call
- Setting: Hospital, not a trauma center
Responsibilities:
- Providing 24-hour unrestricted orthopedic on-call coverage
- Performing 2-3 orthopedic procedures per shift, including hip fracture cases
- Conducting Emergency Department consults, such as hand injuries
- Managing daily consult volume of 8-10 patients
- Coordinating post-discharge care
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey license or ability to obtain
- Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Medical Degree
- Certification in Orthopedic Trauma Care
- Experience with Orthopedic Trauma and ED consults
- Proficiency in Surgical techniques
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
