A recognized tech services organization is actively seeking a new Oracle Cloud Engineer to design, configure, and support Oracle enterprise solutions.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 10+ months
- Setting: Hybrid to Phoenix, AZ or New York City; however, can be Remote for right candidate
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and support Oracle EPM/EPCM solutions (e.g., Planning, FCCS, ARCS, EPBCS, PCMCS)
- Architect, deploy, and maintain solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and procedures to support reporting and integrations
- Lead and support EPM application configurations, metadata management, data mappings, and business rules
- Build and maintain integrations using Data Management, REST APIs, and batch processes
- Partner with Finance, FP&A, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards
- Support upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts for Oracle Cloud and EPM platforms
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Engineer / Oracle EPM Engineer in an enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM / EPCM configurations
- Solid expertise in Oracle Cloud Architecture (OCI)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, performance tuning, complex joins)
- Experience supporting financial systems in a regulated or large-scale environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications:
- Oracle Cloud or EPM certifications
- Experience with Oracle EPM integrations, REST APIs, and automation
- Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, or close & consolidation processes
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or scripting (Python, Shell)
- Prior experience in financial services or large global organizations
