A services organization on Long Island is seeking a new Operations Engineer to join their team at their Nassau County location, focusing on core IT operations.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Setting: Hybrid (4 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain systems and databases
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Support production, development, staging, and test environments
- Respond to security incidents and enforce system policies
- Provide L3 support to Service Desk and Field teams
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Azure and VMware
- Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency
- Strong PowerShell scripting
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, Red Hat, and/or VMware
- Experience with ITIL frameworks
