A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Operating Room team in Ulster County.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Evening
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (rotating weekends)
- Hours: 12pm to 8pm (37.5 hours per week)
- Setting: Acute care Surgical environment
Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Performing pre-operative patient assessments and preparing patients for surgery
- Assisting intraoperatively, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the surgical team
- Monitoring patient condition and responding to changes throughout procedures
- Administering medications and treatments per physician's orders and hospital policy
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Acute Care experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AORN certification
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Operating Room experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Additional Surgical certifications
- Advanced skills in Perioperative Nursing
