A health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of their Brooklyn-based inpatient psychiatric facilities.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Part-time
- Schedule: 1 day per week
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
- Setting: Inpatient Mental Health Facility
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' sensory needs
- Teaching adaptive techniques to patients
- Participating in treatment plan development and implementation
- Evaluating medical history and functional abilities
- Developing customized therapeutic plans
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Knowledge of Mental Health therapies
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- 2 years of experience in Mental Health
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Certification in Mental Health specialization
- Bilingual
- Experience with Adaptive Equipment
