An education services organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Brooklyn, NY to support students with complex medical and developmental needs. This role works within a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on pediatric occupational therapy services.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Setting: In-person
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students using standardized assessment tools and monitor progress throughout the school year.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and IEP-related goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, nurses, and families to support student outcomes.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, including push-in support and session-based interventions.
- Document treatment sessions, progress notes, reports, and related student care records accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to be licensed in New York State.
- Experience working with pediatric patients ages 5-23.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting students with brain-based disorders, traumatic brain injury, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or medically fragile needs.
- Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience.
- Research experience or familiarity with clinical research activities.
- NDT training.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
