A healthcare organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) in New York, NY to support a pediatric student population with brain injuries and other brain-based disorders. This role works within a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic services in an educational setting.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Setting: In-person
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students using standardized clinical assessment tools and update treatment plans as needed
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized occupational therapy interventions based on student needs and progress
- Prepare and update Individualized Education Programs and related documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, nurses, and families to coordinate student care
- Document services, progress notes, reports, and other required student-care forms accurately and on time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
- Experience working with pediatric populations ages 5 to 23
- Ability to work with students with brain-based disorders, neurological involvement, or medically fragile needs
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Pediatric Occupational Therapy
- Exposure to traumatic brain injury, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or medically fragile populations
- Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Research experience or NDT training
