A healthcare organization in central Connecticut is seeking an OB/GYN to provide comprehensive women’s health services in a well-established practice.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: January through March
- Schedule: 2–3 days per week, including weekday call coverage (preferably Tuesday) and one weekend per month.
- Setting: Outpatient Care and Labor & Delivery coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full spectrum of gynecological and obstetrical care, including:
- Preventive screenings (breast, cervical cancer)
- Menstrual and menopause management
- STD treatment and contraceptive counseling
- Prenatal, postpartum, and breastfeeding support
- Routine and surgical gynecological procedures
- Labor and delivery coverage
- Collaborate with a supportive team of colleagues and hospital staff
- Utilize integrated EMR systems for documentation (eClinicalWorks in office; Meditech in hospital)
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
- Board certified or board eligible (certification within 5 years of appointment)
- Active CT State License
