A leading health services organization in New York is currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) for their Residential Treatment Program. This role involves managing nursing services in a supportive environment dedicated to treating individuals with addiction.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Residential Treatment Program
Responsibilities:
- Developing nursing and medical support staff schedules
- Monitoring completion of medical support and nursing staff assignments
- Supervising care provided by nursing staff to ensure competency
- Conducting orientation for new staff and providing in-service training
- Managing inventory of controlled substances accurately
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of nursing supervisory experience (including 3 years in a relevant setting)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- BLS certification
- Proficiency in Phlebotomy and EKG
- Software literacy, including Microsoft Office and EHR systems
Desired Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of Substance Use Treatment programs
