A health services network in California is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing team in a Per Diem role. In this position, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for conducting one-time disability exams for Veterans in office settings in centrally-located areas.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Per diem, as needed
- Hours: 0.5 to 2.0 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Conducting one-time disability exams for Veterans
- Ensuring exams are completed with accuracy
- Complete necessary documentation
- Adhering to VA guidelines
- Working with a flexible schedule to meet demand
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- CA Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- National certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
- Experience in clinical settings
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
