A healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its Oncology team at one of its facilities in Bergen County.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced oncologic nursing assessment and documentation
- Perform inpatient hospital rounding as per the provided schedule
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic treatments and non-pharmacologic modalities
- Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to the patient's disease-specific needs
- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions prescribed
- Facilitate the patient's transition within and between healthcare settings
- Provide education to patients, families, and significant others
- Act as an information resource to students, healthcare professionals, patients, and the public
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) license for the state of New Jersey
- Oncology experience and/or ONS/ONCC certification
- Board Eligible / Certified
