A New Jersey-based healthcare organization is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner for an Occupational Health assignment in New Brunswick. This role provides outpatient employee health services, including injury evaluation, fitness-for-duty exams, and occupational medicine support in a collaborative clinical setting.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Flexible schedule, approximately 2-3 days per week
- Hours: 7:30am to 5pm
- Setting: Outpatient Occupational Health clinic
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-placement and employment physical examinations
- Conduct return-to-work evaluations and fit-for-duty examinations
- Evaluate and manage workplace injuries and workers' compensation cases
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing and other clinical studies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure
- Current DEA registration
- Current CDS license
- DOT certification
- Significant experience in Corporate Health and/or Occupational Medicine
- Experience managing Workers' Compensation cases
Desired Skills:
- Current BLS certification
- Experience working independently in an Outpatient Occupational Health setting
- Knowledge of Occupational Medicine regulations and Workplace Safety standards
