A healthcare organization in New York City is seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Brooklyn location as a Nurse Manager.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (rotational weekends and late nights)
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (9am to 2pm on Saturdays; 9am to 7pm on late evenings)
- Setting: Medical clinic
Responsibilities:
- Managing nurses and medical assistants
- Conducting 1:1s and staff training
- Overseeing the clinical operations and flow
- Nursing assessments and triaging
- Ensuring compliance with medical guidelines
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Experience in Community Health
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Bilingual
- Experience working with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- Experience with culturally diverse populations
- Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Management role
