A Long Island-based community services organization is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Nassau County as a Nurse Educator. In this role, the Nurse Educator (RN) will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive education and training programs for agency staff on a wide range of medical and health-related topics.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (with evenings and weekend teaching)
- Hours: 8;30am to 5:30pm (35 hours per week)
- Setting: Office and field (travel 2x a month)
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and facilitating training on various medical and health-related topics
- Developing and updating training curricula
- Administering and reading Mantoux (PPD) tests
- Serving as a liaison with external entities for medical training assignments
- Performing additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior experience working in the field of Intellectual/Developmental Disability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:=
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Certification as a CPR instructor, or the ability to obtain such certification
- Experience with Regulatory and Compliance requirements (e.g., SCIP, CPR certification, PPD/TB screenings, or other healthcare compliance training)
- Proficiency with Educational technologies (e.g., slide presentations, LMS/tracking systems, competency documentation)
